Ocean Beach Tairua
You can go at either the southern or northern end of the beach. Best time to snorkel this area is during small swell. The visibility can be affected by rain and storms. Accessible from the main beach with lots of underwater life. Also good for spearfishing with butterfish, snapper, john dory, kingfish, crayfish and paua on offer.
Sailor's Grave
